Johan has over 9 years experience in assisting businesses and non-profit organizations with technology planning, project management and direct network support. He has consulted for a wide range of organizations from the non-profit and for-profit sectors, including grassroots organizations, associations, and foundations; local, national and international. Johan spent 6 years as a Team Lead for the Network Infrastructure Support group, spearheading its growth from a staff of 6 to 25, followed by 2 years leading sales and managing all services as the Director of Services.  He now serves as Vice President of Client Services.  

Johan came to Community IT Innovators because of a commitment to work directly with socially-responsible organizations that are making a difference in DC and the world. Before Community IT Innovators, Johan worked as a programmer for Westat. Johan possesses a B.S. degree with Honors in Chemistry from Stanford University, and an M.A. in Molecular Biophysics from Johns Hopkins University.
