Mark is skilled at diagnosing hardware problems and enjoys the problem solving aspect of troubleshooting. He came to Community IT Innovators (CITI) after a year of service with AmeriCorps, where he worked to develop programs that helped adult English as a Second Language (ESL) students utilize technology to improve their lives. Prior to AmeriCorpos, Mark worked as an intern at Sojourners magazine. Mark's technical experience began at age 5, when his father brought home his family's first computer (an IBM PC Jr.) Mark finds working with nonprofit organizations rewarding, appreciating the opportunity to contribute to positive social change. Mark completed two years of studies at Lansing Community College in Lansing, Michigan. He has the distinction of being CITI's resident mandolin player.
