Nate has been supporting the infrastructure needs of Community IT Innovators (CITI) clients since 1998. Some of his younger colleagues may think of him as "old school," however he is actually one of CITI's pioneers in investigating technical innovations. He has championed the benefits of "hosted Exchange" for smaller clients and enjoys promoting Open Source alternatives to Microsoft software. Nate has also authored a series of blog posts on Virtualization that have also been published on the Tech Soup blog, and has recently been a leading innovator in researching and refining CITI's green IT services.

Nate is a Microsoft Certified System Engineer and has a B.A. from Austin College. To relax, Nate spends his weekends teaching skydiving, or as he likes to think of it, "teaching people the importance of planning and redundancy".
