Systems Administrator
Jason is originally from Prince Edward Island, Canada where he completed his Bachelors degree in Business Information Systems with a major in Applications Development and systems analysis from Holland College, one of the top technology programs in eastern Canada. From there, Jason Moved to the US where he worked in Public Health Information Systems Management in Massachusetts for 10 years, successfully overseeing large scale projects such as multi platform migrations, enterprise SAN/NAS implementation and strategies and ran a state wide helpdesk that supported over 5000 users for the Department of Public Health. He integrated many state-run bureaus such as WIC, Substance Abuse, HIV Aids, Environmental Health and Family and Community Health departments into a consolidated environment and designed the construction of an Oracle data warehouse that handles over a million transactions a day and is still utilized.
Jason later joined a global public health organization in Virginia where for 3 years he developed and implemented Supply Chain Management systems to distribute active and vital ARV's, HIV, malaria, yellow fever and typhoid medications to people in Africa and South America with the cooperation with Ministries of Health as well as managing a global helpdesk and US-based partner support, traveling to over 10 countries in Africa and the Americas to coordinate these efforts. Now at CITI, Jason supports Bread for the World, a global faith-based organization, in their day-to-day operations. He holds certifications in Microsoft and Novell as well as many vendor, technology and service related certifications. He enjoys flying, holds a private pilots license for helicopters, and also likes to travel.
